Timothy La Sota has joined Rose Law Group to practice in the areas of public policy, government relations, lobbying, election law, land use, immigration, and constitutional litigation. Given the depth of his experience in these areas, along with his close relationships to the elected officials currently serving in Arizona's top positions, Mr. La Sota is a great addition to the RLG team!
Before coming to RLG, Mr. La Sota worked as the Chief of Staff to Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane, where he assists the Mayor in all facets, including implementing his policy agenda, constituent work, and speechwriting.
Mr. La Sota previously served as a Special Assistant Deputy Maricopa County Attorney. In that role Mr. La Sota played an instrumental role in the successful legal defense of the state's employer sanctions and human smuggling laws. Mr. La Sota also was in charge of the Community Action Bureau and contributed to legislative efforts to ensure protection of crime victims and accountability for criminal offenders.
Mr. La Sota's previous experience also includes four years in private practice, where he specialized in election law, government relations and commercial litigation.
Mr. La Sota is an active member of the philanthropic community, having served for six years on the Board of Directors of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, including two years as the Corporate Secretary. Mr. La Sota was also previously President of the St. Thomas More Society and The Federalist Society.
Mr. La Sota lives in Phoenix with his wife and three children.
