Jordan Rose started Rose Law Group leasing space for just herself in another lawyers storage room and has, in ten years, grown the firm to the largest woman owned Lawfirm in the western states.
Jordan and RLG were just awarded as the number one “hot growth” company in 2009 by the Arizona Republic newspaper. She was named as one of the "Leading Lawyers” and one of the twenty-five “Power Players of the Year by the Phoenix Business Journal. Most recently, she was a finalist for the Arizona Republic Woman of the Year award. In addition, the Arizona Republic newspaper has also named her as one of the “20 Women Who Will Shape Arizona by 2020” and, along with her husband, as one of the top five “power couples” in Arizona. In 2006, she was named as one of “Ten Women to Watch Under 40 Years Old” by the Arizona Republic.
Jordan is most proud that for two years in a row, Rose Law Group pc was named as the third Best Place to Work in Arizona for small sized businesses by the Phoenix Business Journal and BestCompaniesAZ.
Rose Law Group pc is a full service business and real estate Lawfirm. It is the only Lawfirm in the country to combine attorneys with an array of urban planners, LEED certified consultants, project managers and construction managers so that the Firm can take a project from due diligence and acquisition through planning and project management on to actual construction. Jordan practices in the areas of renewable energy, municipal issues, land use, zoning, government relations, administrative law and lobbying. Her clients include renewable energy companies around the world, publicly held corporations, developers, homebuilders, engineers, architects, property owners, citizen groups, non-profit organizations and private homeowners.
Jordan is one of the founding members of Pinal Partnership and currently serves as President of the Board. This organization was created two years ago and now attracts 200+ people to their monthly breakfasts where Jordan serves as the moderator for panel discussions. She is also the board liaison to the renewable energy committee. Jordan is also a member of Arizona State University's Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) Board and the Arizona Solar Energy Industries Association. She is a frequent speaker and master of ceremonies at real estate and renewable energy related events. Groups she has spoken to include Lambda Alpha, Arizona Planning Association, Spring Agriculture Outlook Forum, Valley Partnership, Pinal Partnership, East Valley Citizens Forum, and many others. Jordan is committed to mentoring young people and every year takes at least one college age student on a mentoree. She also speaks at a wide variety of women’s groups with the message of hard work and a vision bringing success. She was the "conservative angel" on the weekly Charles Goyette Radio Show, "Charles' Angels", a member of the Institute for Justice's Board of Directors, a member of the Goldwater 100, a regular columnist for the Arizona Journal of Business and Real Estate, a periodic columnist to The Tribune newspaper, The Scottsdale Republic, and The Business Journal. She is an associate scholar for the Goldwater Institute, which has published two of her studies, "Eminent Domain Abuse in Arizona: The Growing Threat to Private Property," and a study she co-authored with Court Rich, "Protecting Private Property Rights: The Case for Vested Property Rights."
Jordan donates a significant amount of time and money to political and charitable causes that promote freedom, longevity, and education. Most recently she has endowed the Rose Law Group Economic Freedom Lecture Series, a five year commitment through the Goldwater Institute to bringing great speakers to the state of Arizona (bringing Mark Styn and Newt Ginrich and confirmed to bring Dennis Miller in the spring to her home). She is a member of the Casa Grande, Coolidge, Maricopa, and Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, the Pinal Historic Museum. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, Valley Leadership Class IX, a past President of the Phoenix Museum of History,and a Member of the Pinal County Historic Society. Jordan delivered the key note address for the annual 2004 Xavier Preparatory Father Daughter Breakfast (300 people in attendance), was the spokesperson for now Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas' 2004 campaign, served as finance chair for now Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman's 2004 campaign, was past finance chair of the Arizona Republican Party, a member of Charter 100 of the National Republican Committee, Vice Chair for the American Heart Association Heart Ball 2006, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Phoenix Symphony, a member of the Board of Trustees for Center for Autism Research Development, a member of the Board of Trustees for The Make-a-Wish Foundation, was recently elected to Board of Directors of the Joe Foss Institute, is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Banner Health Foundation and an advisor to the Board of Teen Life.
In the first year of the award, Jordan was named "Top 40 under 40" by the Phoenix Business Journal, and prior to that, for two years, Jordan was named "Most Influential Under 30" by the Phoenix Business Journal, as "Top Women in the Valley" by Hola Latino America Magazine, as a "Women Who Care" in the first year of their award by the Phoenix Theater, and "Top 20 Women in Business" by City AZ magazine and was a Trends Fashionality. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and the Arizona Planning Association.
