Lauren Elrod co-chairs RLG’s Estate Planning and Asset Protection Team, and is a member of the Employment Law Team.
Lauren is dedicated to assisting you make certain that those things most important to you – your family, your health, and your assets – are well protected at all times. Through proper estate and gift tax planning, the Team counsels clients as to what instruments best suit each clients’ needs. In doing this analysis, we can provide you with the tools to best position you and those that you love for the future. After our meeting and analysis, we will draft the necessary documents. Then, you do not have to worry about a thing.
As a follow-up service, our Team will check in with you annually to see if any modifications are necessary, and will update you on any changes to the relevant law that might affect you, and discuss suggested modifications to best serve your interests.
Her employment practice dovetails nicely with her Trusts and Estates focus. On the employment side, her practice involves advising and representing clients with respect to compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination laws, from the administrative stage to personnel hearings and litigation. She defends clients in federal and state discrimination and retaliation claims and also represents clients before government agencies and departments in administrative grievance proceedings. Ms. Elrod counsels clients on their everyday HR needs, providing substantive legal and practical advice in an effort to develop positive and productive work environments and to avoid potential claims.
Prior to joining Rose Law Group, Ms. Elrod’s practice was focused on transactional real estate and land use; she served as general counsel for a development company. This experience allowed her to participate in the acquisition, development, management, and disposition of both developed and undeveloped property. Her work included the negotiation and drafting of various real estate agreements including sales agreements, agricultural leases, joint development agreements, joint ownership agreements, and municipal development agreements. Ms. Elrod has participated in transactions in excess of ten thousand acres over the past five years in both Arizona and Idaho which gives her the ability to understand the needs of both small and large-scale developments.
Ms. Elrod earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona in 2001, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She graduated in 2004 with her J.D. from Arizona State University and is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona.
