Rose Law Group Adds Energy Consultant to its Roster, Becomes First Law Firm in AZ with In-House Energy Expert

 

Dec. 14, 2009- Phoenix, AZ. --- Rose Law group adds more power to its already thriving energy practice with the addition of Arizona’s first energy consultant serving in-house at a law firm.

 

Having served throughout the state in top energy posts for more than 20 years, George Seitts brings a wealth of experience to the firm with an extensive background in renewable energy and oil.

 

This is just another stride Rose Law is making in the legal world. Rose Law Group is the foremost authority on renewable energy projects, entitlements, partnerships and plans in the region. The Scottsdale-based firm’s Renewable Energy Department has been making landmark decisions in the industry for over two years.

George Seitts is the Former Head of Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Division and Head of Weights and Measures Department. Where he oversaw programs, outreach and policy development particularly in the area of renewable and “Green” building design. As Head of the Weights and Measures Department he administered regulatory compliance programs for air and fuel quality.  He previously held positions with ConocoPhillips, Giant Industries, Inc., and InterNorth/Northern Natural Gas Company.  Seitts directed government affairs offices for these global, national, and regional energy development and transportation companies when it came to crude oil and natural gas production and pipeline, and downstream refining and marketing.  Alaska Gas Pipeline, cleaner burning fuels nationally, MTBE removal from gasoline nationally, new technology for coal bed methane in Wyoming, and sustainable development in most areas were top priorities.
