Clark Wu

Clark Wu is a member of Rose Law Group’s Cannabis Law, Business and Corporate Transaction, and Immigration Law departments.

Clark has a variety of experiences in different practice areas that gives him a unique perspective to legal issues, which allows him to better serve his clients by providing innovative and comprehensive solutions.

Clark was formerly a member of the firm’s Class Action practice group, where he worked on a variety of complex litigation matters, including multi-district litigations and class actions. Clark is a contributor to a published Class Action Strategy & Practice Guide by the American Bar Association, which provides a comprehensive discussion of all aspects of class action litigation from investigation to discovery matters.

Clark is currently a member of the firm’s Cannabis Law and Business and Corporate Transactions departments, where he assists business and corporate clients with transactional matters of varying complexity, including negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting due diligence reviews, applying for trademarks, resolving compliance issues, handling corporate formation and entity structure, as well as the acquisition or disposition of businesses. Clark also brings his litigation experience to his transactional practice, and assists cannabis and business clients alike with business litigation matters. Clark’s added litigation experience enables him to explore transactional issues with a litigation perspective, which allows him to better protect his clients.

As an additional component to his business and corporate practice, Clark assists business and corporate clients on a variety of business immigration matters. He has experience helping clients obtain work visas and immigration status for employees, including H1-Bs, green cards and naturalization. He also has experience helping investors obtain E-B5 visas.

During law school, Clark was an active participant in moot court competitions, was a member on the Executive Moot Court Board, and served on the Executive Board of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.  Clark also served as an extern to the Hon. Terry J. Hatter Jr., at the United States District Court, Central District of California. While working for Judge Hatter, he helped opine judicial orders on a variety of matters, including complex legal issues related to contract disputes, international trademark infringement, business litigation and civil rights litigation.

Clark attended the Sandra Day O’ Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he graduated in the top of his class. He also graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science: Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside. Clark speaks Chinese.

In his spare time, Clark enjoys cooking, traveling, and experimenting with exotic foods.
