Developer files plan for stalled Paradise Valley Ritz Carlton project; Rose Law Group Founder and President Jordan Rose provides insight in Business Journal

A $2 billion, 122-acre luxury master-planned community in Paradise Valley is nearing an inflection point nearly a year after project developers filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November 2025.

While none of the parties involved in the Chapter 11 filing would comment, Jordan Rose, founder of Rose Law Group PC, said it appears Five Star will have a limited opportunity to buy the full 120 acres at a price set by the bankruptcy court.

“If they do not exercise this option, the hotel will go to auction and the rest of the land can be sold with the hotel or separately,” said Rose, who is not affiliated with the case. “And in any case, the villas are sold separately.”
