For New Chair of Practice at RLG, Immigration is Personal

Darius Amiri’s legal career has focused exclusively on immigration law

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) Rose Law Group pc has selected Darius Amiri as Chairman of its Immigration Law Department.  Nearly all of Amiri’s professional career has focused on immigration and nationality law.  Mr. Amiri has handled thousands of immigration cases ranging from deportation defense, bond hearings, and asylum proceedings to family petitions and employment and business-based immigration applications. 
His clients have come from counties all over the world.

Amiri is licensed to appear in federal immigration courts across the country in addition to U.S. District Court in Arizona. Amiri served as an associate attorney at one of the largest volume immigration firms in Arizona before moving to Los Angeles in 2016 to start a solo practice. During that time he was among a group of attorneys who volunteered to help refugees and their families at the Los Angeles International Airport on the day a federal travel ban was enacted barring refugees from the several countries from entering the United States. His efforts were featured in the LA Times.

Amiri continued his solo practice until he and his family relocated to Arizona in early 2019. Amiri earned his Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he focused on civil justice and mediation. He attended the University of California, San Diego where he earned degrees in World Literature and Political Science/ International Relations from one of the most prestigious programs in the country.

Amiri is the son of an Iranian immigrant who became a naturalized U.S. citizen and then immigrated his own family to the United States. He learned to speak Spanish while on mission trips with his church to Baja California, Mexico, and while studying abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla, in Seville, Spain.
Amiri said, “As the son of an immigrant, I understand their struggles and aspirations. That’s why I have devoted almost my entire legal career to immigration and nationality law. I am honored that Rose Law Group pc has selected me to as Chairman of this department.”
