High-profile SIlicon Valley investors back the 4-year-old startup

Arizona’s easygoing business climate — and some insight from the CEO of Waze — were among the reasons Airobotics Ltd. CEO Ran Krauss decided to place his U.S. headquarters in Scottsdale.
Krauss said his Israeli-based unmanned aerial vehicle technology company was also swayed by the available land options, the “well-off” city of Scottsdale and the promising talent from local universities to help his company take the next step in its expansion.
Airobotics, which launched four years ago, develops fully automated, pilotless drones for surveillance, surveying and mapping mines, and security applications.
