Phoenix-area law firms added security measures while mourning the loss of their colleagues after a weekend of little information on a string of shootings targeting the legal community.

Six people were killed by a shooter over the past few days, starting last Thursday. The suspected shooter was found dead in a hotel from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound as police closed in Monday morning.

Police identified the suspect as 56-year-old Dwight Lamon Jones at a press conference Monday afternoon.
