Rose Law Group adds to rapidly growing immigration practice with key new hire

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) A paralegal with more than 20 years’ experience in immigrants’ rights is has been named the new Senior Immigration Paralegal for Rose Law Group, pc. The firm has been seeing a surge in new cases and has been hiring rapidly to meet demand.

Ana Guzman started as a legal assistant to Friendly House, a respected non-profit organization established to help new immigrants. She then served as a community outreach representative at Friendly House and later as a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accredited representative. In that role, Guzman appeared on behalf of clients in federal immigration matters.

Guzman, who is an immigrant and fully bilingual, later served as the supervising immigration paralegal at two of the largest immigration law firms in the Phoenix area.

In addition to traditional paralegal duties, over the course of her career Ana has been called upon to maintain multiple attorney dockets, research case law, prepare applications of relief before the court, draft motions to immigration courts and the BIA. She has also made numerous Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests on behalf of clients as well as interacting with immigration court for clients.

Guzman said, “As an immigrant I understand the struggles so many face on the path to citizenship. My mission is to make sure that path is fair, just, and attainable.”
