The Fiesta Bowl’s George Leonard Rookie of the Year Award went to Rose Law Group lawyer David Weissman on Sunday at the organization’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Party.
The award recognizes a Fiesta Bowl volunteer that showed their enthusiasm, organizational abilities and expertise, while in their first or second year of involvement with the Fiesta Bowl organization.
“The list of past winners is pretty distinguished and, needless to say, I was extremely excited to win, Weissman said. “I’ll ride in the ‘Rookie of the Year’ car at the Fiesta Bowl parade.
