An iconic Connecticut family business is changing hands after more than 70 years, and its new CEO is a 20-year-old entrepreneur who’s still in college.

Shelton-based Wiffle Ball, founded in 1953 by the Mullany family, has been sold to the Rose family from Scottsdale, Arizona, the developers of Big League Wiffle Ball.

Logan Rose, currently a sophomore at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, will lead the company. His 17-year-old brother Carson becomes chief growth officer.

Their mother, Jordan, founder of Rose Law Group, will serve as chairman of the board.
