Destiny Ruiz is passionate about helping clients and team members succeed through clear, strategic communication and a deep understanding of the legislative process. With experience in lobbying, policy research, and identifying opportunities within the Arizona Legislature, she is committed to building strong relationships and delivering results that make a meaningful impact.

A proud graduate of the University of Arizona, Destiny participated in the Arizona Legislative Internship Program during her final semester, working at the Arizona House of Representatives with the communications and media team. There, she gained hands-on experience managing social media, drafting press releases and speeches, and tracking legislation — providing her with a firsthand understanding of how policy is shaped.

Following graduation, she began her career with the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Department, supporting case management, placing youth in safe environments, monitoring compliance, and navigating the court system.

Destiny later joined Husch Blackwell Strategies (HBS) Arizona, a nationally recognized lobbying firm, where she served as a Client Services Associate. In this role, she provided comprehensive support to clients and the HBS team, combining her policy knowledge, research skills, and legislative insight to advance client priorities at the state level. During her time at HBS, she worked closely with Elizabeth Goodman, contributing to successful lobbying strategies and fostering key legislative relationships.

Now at Rose Law Group as a Government Affairs Associate, Destiny continues to leverage her experience to support clients in achieving their policy goals and driving impactful legislative change. She tracks legislation, analyzes policy proposals, and monitors committee activity to keep clients informed and strategically positioned. Destiny also assists in drafting bill language, coordinates advocacy efforts, and facilitates meetings with lawmakers and stakeholders. Her hands-on approach and deep familiarity with the Arizona legislative process allow her to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to the success of client-led initiatives.
