CHANDLER, Ariz. — A Valley social media influencer has filed a lawsuit in Maricopa County to try and prevent the release of records related to her son’s death.

Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son, Trigg, died on May 18 after being pulled from a backyard pool at a home in Chandler on May 12, according to police and medical examiner records. Kiser is well-known for posting videos on TikTok about motherhood and her family.

Kiser, who filed the lawsuit under the name Emilie Henrichsen, and her family want to “grieve in private, but sadly, the public will not let them,” the lawsuit says. “Trigg’s death has become a media frenzy.”
