Austin is an associate attorney in Rose Law Group’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining RLG, Austin worked for two years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Steven P. Logan at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Austin graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During his time at ASU Law, Austin was on the Board of Editors of the Arizona State Law Journal as the Journal’s Executive Note & Comment Editor. He was involved in the law school’s Post-Conviction Clinic and worked as a law clerk for a successful Phoenix-based criminal defense firm. He also served as teaching assistant for Legal Method & Writing and worked closely with the law school’s admissions office as a law aide.
Austin was raised in Kansas City and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he obtained his bachelor’s degree after focusing his undergraduate studies on broadcast-journalism and mathematics. During his time in Lincoln, Austin worked for HuskerVision, the production arm of the Nebraska Athletic Department. During his senior year, he served as the Director for HuskerVision’s Big Ten Network Student U Productions team. He also spent time as a student manager on the men’s basketball team and as a staff writer for the sports section of the student newspaper.
In his free time, Austin enjoys playing basketball and following sports, particularly the Kansas City Chiefs. Austin also enjoys hiking, camping, and being outdoors.
