Alex Hosmar

Alex is an associate attorney in Rose Law Group’s land use, natural resources, and transactional departments. He graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. During his time at Wake, Alex served on the Moot Court board, coordinated the Wills Pro Bono Project, and worked as a teaching assistant in the legal writing department. Alex was inducted into the Pro Bono Honor Society and was the recipient of the Dean Suzanne Reynolds Award for receiving the highest grades in both Energy Law and National Security and Counterterrorism Law. Upon graduation, Wake faculty also awarded Alex the Laura J. Gendy Award in recognition of integrity, compassion, and strength of character.

Prior to studying law, Alex graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University in Washington, DC with majors in Economics and Political Science. After college, he worked as a management consultant in Washington, DC, specializing in technical writing, data science, and change management for national security and defense-sector clients.

A Valley native, Alex enjoys following local sports, skiing, hiking, and spending time with family, including his family’s miniature dachshund, Scout.
