Practice Areas: Family Law, Litigation

Kelsey Fischer Maxwell is an associate attorney at Rose Law Group. She is a passionate and adept advocate at all stages of family and civil litigation. She has experienced skills in nuanced problem solving, mediation, negotiation, and high-conflict litigation. Kelsey vehemently represents clients, including through written pleadings, written discovery, depositions, pre-trial dispositive motions, oral arguments, trial, and settlement negotiations. She is licensed to practice in Arizona.

Kelsey graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Political Science with a Foreign Affairs emphasis and B.A. in Spanish with a Literature Concentration. During her undergrad, she gained practical skills through internships for the Arizona Attorney General and the General Counsel of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. After graduating early from the University of Arizona, Kelsey worked as a felony victim advocate at a nonprofit where she assisted victims in asserting their rights in criminal proceedings, helped clients receive protective orders, facilitated the Domestic Violence Support Group and Children’s Support Group for Coconino County, and responded to crisis calls with the police.

Kelsey received her Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. While in law school, Kelsey clerked for a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge, a large probate nonprofit, a successful Southwestern based firm that operated in civil and probate litigation, and a devoted family law firm. She also dedicated a large portion of her law school experience to growing the Arizona legal community through her time on the Corporate and Business Law Journal and serving as President of the Student Bar Association. Kelsey saw a lapse in family law organizations at the College of Law and co-founded the Family Law Interest Project for students to learn about family law and connect students with family law attorneys. Kelsey was awarded the Alan Matheson Award from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law for her leadership and service to the community.

Kelsey is a proud Arizona native, born and raised in Phoenix Arizona. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs Tito and Bailey, traveling, yoga, baking, and golfing with her husband and friends. She also enjoys going to sporting events, particularly Arizona Diamondbacks games (Go Snakes!).
